The City’s newest golf course, the Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club, is an 18-hole championship course offering experienced & new players a premiere golf experience, as the City continues to invest over $7 million dollars on improvements to the facility, course & landscaping. Who is The 22 Project

All proceeds from this golf tournament will benefit The 22 Project (22P). 

22P is a registered non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to reducing suicides among combat wounded and disabled veterans, reservists, or active duty personnel by using Single-Photon Emission Computerized Tomography (SPECT) imaging technology and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to treat veterans diagnosed with conditions known to contribute to suicide; specifically, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and their sequelae.

22P is celebrating 10 years of operation and has provided over 8,000 HBOT treatments, and nearly 550 brain SPECT images, to approximately 350 disabled veterans, reservists, or active duty personnel of all ages, genders, nationalities, and branches, diagnosed with TBI and their sequelae. In our Post HBOT Questionnaire completed by 100 alumni, veterans rated their experience with 22P a 4.9 out of 5. Furthermore, 98% said they would recommend the program to a friend. Our questionnaire also sees a reduction of TBI-related symptomatology in every area measured, including suicidal ideations. Prior to HBOT, 70% of veterans identified having suicidal thoughts. After HBOT, the percentage dropped to 25.6%.

At 22P, we prioritize integrity in our programs as well as in all other aspects of our operations. This is demonstrated by our Platinum GuideStar transparency status and the fact that $0.94 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to our veterans.
